A double glazing company, not a door supplier. We have fitted uPVC windows and doors across Maghull and north Liverpool since 1999. Composite doors, uPVC doors, aluminium bifolds and French doors, installed by our own fitters with a 10-year guarantee.

Energy efficient doors made to measure in composite, uPVC and aluminium, all double glazed where they are glazed at all. Supplied and fitted by the same team, never handed off to a subcontractor.
Composite Doors
A solid insulated core inside a GRP skin. Warmer, heavier and harder to force than uPVC, and the usual choice for a front door.
Composite Doors →
uPVC Doors
Steel-reinforced uPVC doors, front and back. The cheaper option per door, and often the right call for a rear entrance.
uPVC Doors →
Aluminium Bifolds
Aluminium bifolds in two to six panels, thermally broken, opening a whole wall onto the garden.
Aluminium Bifolds →
French & Patio Doors
French doors and sliding patio doors, A-rated glazing, multi-point locking, matching frame colour inside and out.
French & Patio Doors →One of the most common questions we get in Maghull, and the answer changes the price a lot. Here is how we work it out at the survey rather than guessing over the phone.
If the frame is square, sound and the right colour, a door-only swap is possible on some uPVC units. It is the cheaper job and we will say so if it applies to yours.
Blown seals, a dropped or twisted frame, rot in the timber sub-frame, or moving from uPVC to composite. In those cases replacing the door alone just moves the problem.
A new door hung on a tired frame will not seal, and the guarantee on the door does not cover the frame it is fitted into. We would rather quote the job properly.
We check the frame for square, test the seals and look at the sub-frame during the free survey. You get told which job it is and why, in writing.
Either way the quote covers supply, fitting, taking the old unit away and the FENSA certificate. Nothing gets added on the day.
A family run double glazing company in Ormskirk, fitting uPVC windows and doors across Maghull, Sefton and north Liverpool since 1999.
Countrywide UPVC (NW) Ltd is not a national brand with a local phone number. Paul started it in 1999, runs it now, and the office is at 104 New Court Way in Ormskirk, fifteen minutes up the A59.
Double glazing is the whole business: uPVC windows and doors, aluminium bifolds, conservatories and roofs. We are the installer and the supplier, so there is no third party to blame. Our fitters are on our payroll rather than hired in per job, which is the whole answer to who you ring when a hinge needs a turn in three years.
Live, verified Google reviews from customers across Maghull and the surrounding area.
Maghull has plenty of double glazing companies and most of them fit similar-looking doors. The difference shows up in the hardware and the frame, which is where a cheap quote gets cheap.
A door is only as secure as what it is hung in. Our frames are steel reinforced and packed into the opening properly, not foamed and trimmed.
Hook bolts into the frame at several points with anti-snap cylinders as standard. It is on the quote, not offered as an extra once you have committed.
We have traded from the same address since 1999. A guarantee is only worth what the company behind it is still worth in year nine.
Your installation is registered with Sefton Council building control and you get the certificate.
Colours, woodgrain finishes, obscure and leaded glass, handle and letterplate options, all made to measure. Samples come to you at the survey.
Three to four hours for a single door. Bifold doors and French doors take longer, and we tell you which at the quote rather than on the day.
We cover Maghull and the villages around it, including Lydiate, Melling, Aughton, Sefton Village, Waddicar and Old Roan, and on into north Liverpool. We also fit double glazing and uPVC windows and conservatories and roofs across the same area.

The things people ask us before booking a survey.
uPVC, per door, and usually by a noticeable margin. A composite door costs more because of the solid core and the heavier hardware. Most people spend the extra on the front door where it shows and does the most work, and put uPVC on the back.
Sometimes. If the frame is square, sound and the colour you want, a door-only swap works on some uPVC units and it is the cheaper job. If the frame has dropped, the seals have gone or you are moving to composite, the frame has to come out too. We check at the survey and tell you which.
It depends on the opening size, the glass and whether the frame is being replaced, so we do not publish a headline figure that we would then have to move. The survey is free and the written quote is supply and install, VAT included, with nothing added afterwards.
Ten years on the installation. We have traded from the same address since 1999, which is the part that actually matters: a long guarantee from a company that folds in year three is not a guarantee.
Yes, free and with no obligation. Someone comes out, measures properly and leaves you a written price. No three-hour pitch and no discount that expires the same evening.
Composite front and back doors, uPVC doors, aluminium bifolds and French and patio doors, all made to measure and double glazed. We also fit uPVC windows, conservatories and roofs, so a whole-house job goes through one supplier. We do not fit internal or timber doors.
